Katie's prayer: Cheer Up Charlie's "Fly"

I’m beginning to feel a melt down, and the walls are caving in now
So why don’t try to open your eyes, and take a look around?

I honestly do feel like I’m in the middle of a melt down today! Through the Holy Spirit, I got this wonderful idea of having the summer be about getting to know the Mass a little better, ending with the changes on the Mass. I had 5 sessions to fill and ran across an ad for a Bible Study on the Mass with 4 sessions. Perfect right, the 4 sessions from this study plus 1 session on the changes in the Mass. So I contacted the publisher to get a copy. Because of the new changes, they are no longer printing it - they’re making something new.

I started contacting near-by parishes to see if they happened to have a copy. Parish 1: Has a copy, can’t find it. Parish 2: Has a copy, can’t find it, think they lent it to someone and was going to contact them. However, youth minister at parish 2 just had a baby (with some complications), so he’s not had much time to track down this Bible study for me. Parish 3: In stash area 1, they were not able to find it. They are going to stash area 2 tomorrow to search, but not holding out much hope. Parishes 3, 4 & 5, just sent facebook messages to. But those three parishes are not in the area. I also sent an email to the writer of this Bible study, but I know he’s a super busy man, who knows if he’ll even see my email before Sunday.

So unless a miracle happens, I will not have week one of this Bible study before Sunday. Which kinda really sucks. But I’m still holding out hope. I know that God provides. And if that means God somehow gets this to me before Sunday, great! If it means God sends me a different thing to do on Sunday, that’s great too!
