Katie's prayer: Leign Nash's "Precious Jesus"

Not too long ago, I was talking to a priest during confession about my frustration with some parents of my teens. He said that when dealing with parents, we must remember what Jesus said. Mental me said *Jesus said something about dealing with parents?! I must have missed that... do tell!* He quoted Jesus -

Father forgive them for they don’t understand.

Now when I heard that in tonight’s song, that’s where my mind went and now that it’s there, I can’t get it off that. But the more I think about it, the more I realize it does have to deal with my day today. Just from a few emails I received today... people basically blaming me for stuff that isn’t my fault, people emailing me with stuff about what they think is best for their child but don’t realize they are wrong, things like that. Father, forgive them for they don’t understand. Really, it could easily be changed to: Katie, forgive them for they don’t understand.
