Holy, Holy, HolyIs the Lord God Almighty
Tonight was XLT. Out of all the XLT’s that St. Gabe’s has done, I think I liked this one the best. The regular band took the month off. Their replacement was just one guy with a guitar. No words on a screen right i front of me to distract me - it was almost more prayerful mood. The opening Praise and Worship was taken out which left a full hour of Adoration. And the talk was on prayer. It was truly amazing!
Near the end of Adoration, I was sitting on the ground, right in front of Jesus. I experienced something I really only experience in Adoration - silence, in my mind I mean. Zero thoughts going through my head. Just staring at Jesus with a big smile on my face. Adoring. I really can’t explain it. After a while of silence, it was interrupted by Adoration ending and us singing something. Honestly, I can’t remember what we sang now (that’s sad, I’m getting old), but I do remember it having the word “holy” in it. Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty!
