Chris' prayer: Jaci Velazquez "God So Loved"

I was talking with a friend of mine a little bit ago. He is struggling in his faith and just having a hard time feeling his way out of the funk. Talks like this are always a little bit tough for me. There is seemingly so much on the line, so much that needs to be said, and I only have perhaps the one opportunity to say the right thing to springboard him back on his way to a healthy faith.

It is during these talks that really, all that I can find to focus on, is how much the person coming to me is loved. I can't make the decisions for them, whatever those might be, or lift them back up in their faith. Those things are really between them and God. All that I can do, successfully, anyways, is remind them that they are loved. I hope that that message got through tonight.
