Chris' prayer: Caedmon's Call's "Majesty"

I helped lead a retreat this weekend. This about the 10th retreat I've helped lead and each time, I am overwhelmed at how much good God is doing during the weekend. I can look at my own preparation, or that of our leadership as a whole, and create expectations based on how well we are prepared. But I can never account for what God is going to do during that weekend. When I think He is going to do X amount, he does 10 times that much. When I think Y, He does 25 times that.

I was reminded again of that this weekend. As I lay prostrate before my Lord, I stopped singing long enough to listen to the worship coming from the 40 or so other people who were there. And in my silence, I heard the sounds of Heaven, of God working through that moment and that retreat, and the opening and changing of hearts.

Something definitely worthy of worship.
