Megan's prayer: Burlap to Cashmere's "Basic Instructions"

I love that this song is called "Basic Instructions." Our whole lifeteen semester is call "Basic Training," and the prayer group I'm part of is "BASIC." And the life night I'm currently working on planning is on God's Love, which is the basis of the first part of this song.

For God so much loved the world,
That he gave His one and only Son.
That whoever believeth in Him
Shall not die but live on.

I love how straight forward this is. I love how these are our basic instructions for life. All we have to do is believe, and we will not die but live on. Simple enough, right?

Sometimes I really just wish life was simple. I wish I had clear cut instructions in every aspect of life... but I don't. So I'll just have to continue to pray, asking God to please send some clearer instructions on how this whole "life" thing is supposed to go.
