Katie's prayer: Newsong's "Don't It Make You Want To Go Home"

For some reason, I just don’t really like this song tonight. I mean, yes, ok, I’m excited for Heaven. Yes, I’m looking forward to it. But I don’t want to be there now - cause obviously God doesn’t want me there now. God wants me here doing His work. (There’s a lot of it, and someone has to do it!) So it’s kinda pointless to sing “I want to go home to Heaven.” Why worry about something that you have no way of planning for and no way of knowing what it’s going to be like? In fact, it could almost be considered bad - it’s going against God’s will. Maybe for the first time in my life, I’m realizing that I’m ok with God’s will for my life (at least as this area is concerned) and have no desire to go against it. I guess it’s not so bad after all.
