I think too often with this praying project, I try to “find the lesson.” What I mean by that is that I compare my day to a word or line that stands out to me in the song. I try to figure out what God’s trying to tell me, try to figure out how God is trying to perfect me for that day. What do I need to do better in my life, etc. Today’s lesson - sometimes it’s not all about finding a lesson. Sometimes it’s just about worshiping God. That’s what tonight’s song was - just worshiping God for who He is.
