That’s why I say thanks every day
I don’t think I’m all that great about saying “thanks” EVERY day. I’m good at complaining every day. I’m good at wishing things were different every day. Not all that great about saying thanks every day.
Dear God, thank You! Thank You for my job. Thank You for my wonderful support from fellow youth ministers and the time to gather with them. Thank You for a loving family. Thank You for this stupid cold that allowed me to have some much needed time off. Thank You for my wonderful co-workers who are willing to pick up the slack when I’m not there. Thank You for fabulous friends. Thank You for You! Thank You for listening to my prayers, as petty as they may be sometimes. Thank You for answering some of them, and thank You for not answering others. Thank You!
