Katie's prayer: Third Day's "You Make Me Mad"

You make me dance, you make me cry, you make me laugh
You make me shout, you make me smile, you make me mad
You make me sing, you make me think, you make me sad
You make me fall, you make me love, you make me mad

Every relationship is subject to all of these feelings (sometimes all at once). Family, friends, co-workers, doesn’t matter; at some point or another in the relationship, I will feel all of these feelings. So, why does it feel so strange to have some of these feelings for God? Mainly the mad one. I always feel so guilty when I’m mad at God. Why? I don’t feel guilty when I’m mad at anyone else. Dear God, I’m feeling multiple things from the lines above for You right now. Help me to sort through these feelings and not feel guilty about them. Amen.
