Megan's prayer: Steven Curtis Chapman's "Free"

The first thing I wondered as I listened to this song was how do these people know each other? One line says "But then I met a man who's face seemed so strangely out of place". So it sounds as though they didn't know each other prior to this meeting. So why is this person visiting a prisoner? 


Later in the song, it shows the connection that these two made - "We said a prayed and said goodbye and tears began to fill my eye. After meeting the prisoner one time, this person's life is changed. They have tears in their eyes.


I think this quick but deep connection came because the prisoner shared his repentance and being saved by God. I wonder if I would have stopped to talk to a man in prison. Would I have given them the time of day? I wonder how many opportunities I pass up to share with others about God's love and forgiveness and saving powers.
