This is my daily bread

We have a retreat coming up at church and, as luck would have it, my session is on Matthew 6:11a:

Give us today our daily bread

I picked this session for a couple reasons. First, I love to eat. (: But more importantly, I'm growing fond of the Jesuit idea of finding God in every day life and reflecting on each day, asking what we need for that day, thanking Him for what happened that day, praising Him each day. It is very much a "small steps" kind of relationship, allowing the depth to build off of the faithful completion of a small set of tasks. I'm about to learn more about what "daily bread" means, and I'm very much looking forward to it.
