Chris' prayer: Dana's "We Are One Body"

I like this song a lot. It used to be one of my absolute favorites and it has grown well with age. Just a beautiful song. It was hard, though, tonight picking out which song lyrics God was planting in my heart. All of it seemed so important that singling any part out just wouldn't do justice to how important the other parts are.

In fact, the whole song is so important, that it might as well be called "Creed." Each verse is integral to me as a Christian. Each verse tells me more about Jesus: about Him personally, about His mission, about my role as a follower. Just as the song says that we, as his followers, are connected and do not stand alone, so, too, do the verses of this song.
