Everyday"Everyday" is quite a commitment. When first starting this prayer blog, and knowing I had to blog every(week)day, I thought it would be easy. I hadn't realized what "everyday" really meant. I was used to my semi-dedicated faith - my Sunday Mass and Lifenight faith - my Tuesday Holy Hour faith. I didn't know what everyday would do.
Everyday sometimes is a challenge. Life gets busy, I get tired, things happen. I could easily make excuses and not blog, but I always find the time. I am proud of my dedication to this blog - having accidentally only missed one day (and purposefully 10 while in Italy).
The thing about this blog is that it still is only part of "every(week)day". What does it even mean to live for Jesus everyday? Am I showing that in my life? Are my actions showing God's love? Or do I need to rethink how I am going about my life?
