What to say Lord?
Every week day, I find myself asking this question. What do you want to talk about today Lord? What do you want to bring to my attention? What is my prayer for the day going to be? Some days it’s easier than others. Some days, it’s so obvious; other days, I find myself listening to the song for over an hour and reading the lyrics and still getting nothing (stupid human nature interrupting God’s message). Some days, I’m not even sure where all my thoughts are going until I start typing. But at the end of the day, my prayer is always exactly what I needed that day. Songs like today are harder. How can I expand on a song that explains everything perfectly? What more can I add to the lyrics? What else is there to say, Lord? It’s You I live for everyday, and I love every moment of it.
