Megan's prayer: Big Daddy Weave's "Without You"

Due to it's play count, and the familiarity of the words, I know I have listened to this song a handful of times before today. What I never realized was that it was by Big Daddy Weave, and was a Christian song. I've listened to the words and thought about how wonderfully romantic it was. How beautiful that song would be to share with the person you love. It didn't hit me until tonight that this love song was about God.

I don't mean to down-play God's power in any way, but I find it easier to love God when I can relate it to the love that I already know between humans. By already knowing how it feels to be loved by another person, and how it feels to love another person, I am able to think about how that is possible on a much larger scale. I'm taking something that I sort-of understand, and using that understand to wrap my mind around God's love. Although I won't ever fully understand it, I'm off to a decent start.
