Chris' prayer: David Crowder Band's "You Alone"

My dad went to the hospital yesterday morning with chest pain and numbness in his arm. He had a heart attack last year or the year before, and since then, while he is actually getting healthier, has been back in the hospital multiple times. I feel like my *only* parent might not have all that much time left. What am I going to do without him? Where am I going to get the answers to all the questions I have about everything? Who is going to teach me all the stuff I have left to learn?

Tonight's song, and especially the first line, comes at such a good time. Regardless of what happens with my dad, whether he lives one more day or 30 more years, he isn't the only one that I need. My God is.
