Megan's prayer: DC talk's "What If I Stumble?"

Christians who acknowledge Jesus with their lips

This isn't exactly a quote from the song - it's part of the quote found at the beginning of some of the versions of the song that is just spoken. I was really drawn to this quote though because of how true it is in many people I know, including myself. Being part of the CORE team, I am surrounded by some pretty amazing Catholics who talk very big talks about their lifestyle. While many follow through with all of their talk, and have wonderfully Catholic lifestyles, there are times where I see people not following through with all of their talk.

I know I am part of this group, but it is disheartening to see such devoted and religious people not acting very Christ-like. Sometimes I can fall into the mindset that as long as I pray and tell people I'm Catholic, my actions don't always have to follow my words. What I'm forgetting is the old saying "Actions speak louder than words." I need to remember this. I need to work on *showing* people my faith, instead of just telling them about it.
