Here is our King

Not to long ago, I finished reading a book about the Jesuit order. Going in, I didn't know anything about the Jesuits, or any of the religious orders for that matter, and didn't really have a desire to know anymore. However, the book was well reviewed, and I kept hearing about it in different places, so I decided to pick it up.

One of the things the Jesuits focus on is trying to find God in the moment, in everything. I really like this idea a lot and something I try to do in my daily life. God cannot just be found in church, or in the Bible, or any other certain place. From wherever comes goodness, there is God. Wherever we see Love, there is God.

I am on retreat this weekend with my church, and it is sure to be an awesome experience- multiple Masses, Adoration, everything. But I need to be sure to remember that God will be found in many more places than just those events. He will be found everywhere. I just need to look.
