You and I are called to loveFor awhile now, I've boiled down my spirituality to something very close to this phrase. If I'm making the most loving choice, if I'm trying to create the most love, then everything else will work itself out. I don't have to worry about following a long list of commandments or anything; I just have to love.
Last week, I came across some instructions on how to do that. The instructions are written from the perspective of a dog, though they could not have been written any better. They are a wonderful guide for me to follow and measure myself against. My prayer tonight is that I might always remember that call to love, and that I might always take that next step and act on it.
