Chris' prayer: Casting Crowns' "Glory"

Unless I forgot to tag one of my posts, this is my 400th prayer with prayanewsong. There are about 100 songs, give or take, to go, so I'm about 80% of the way through this project.

At times, the words come easy. I know right away what I'm going to pray about, the words that God has placed upon my heart. Other times, it takes longer to figure out what He is trying to tell me. Sometimes, what I have to say is something that I haven't blogged about before; it is brand new. Others, like tonight, it is a message I've heard before.

Tonight's line is one that is familiar to me and to this blog, if not in its exact phrasing at least in its sentiment:

I'll do anything You ask me to

That is the goal. That is what I'm striving for, to get to a point where that prayer is prayed authentically every night, and backed up in action every day. To be so open to God's plan for my life that I will follow Him everywhere.

Nothing new tonight...just a familiar prayer to be prayed.
