Katie's prayer: Phil Wickham's "Divine Romance"

Your innocent blood, has washed my guilty life
In Your presence God I’m completely satisfied

Totus Tuus is at St. Gabe’s this week. And since I know the team really well, and I know the teens at St. Gabe’s well and since I have nothing better to do, I have been spending my evenings/nights there. I am super excited for tomorrow night. It will be a mix of Totus Tuus Tuesday night and XLT. How awesome! But I’m also slightly afraid. Reason: confession. I think I’ve explained before how much I don’t really like it. Tonight, in one of the talks, one of the teachers likened going to Confession to scraping your knee when you were little. You didn’t want to show it to your parents because they’d rub that stuff on it that kills germs but makes your leg feel like it’s on fire. But in the end, it’s what’s best for you, and your leg. That burning leg part is the part I dislike SO much about confession. And the anticipation leading up to the burning leg part. But it’s time to go. My cut has gotten way too big. And what better time to go than during XLT/Totus Tuus with one of my favorite priest and where I’ll be going right into Adoration afterwards?
