This is no sacrifice
Here's my life
While I may be guilty of this myself, one thing that bothers me in people is unnecessary complaining. It's so frustrating when people make a HUGE deal out of having to do something, when it really isn't too much of an inconvenience for them.
I feel like sacrificing our lives for God - giving up our life for Him - is something that people complain about. We think it isn't fair - why should we give up our life? We think it's so difficult - God asking us to do His will. To most people, sacrifice is a bad word, something that isn't fun and requires work.
In all honesty though, doesn't God deserve for us to sacrifice and give our lives back to Him? Isn't he the one who blessed us with all of the great things in our life, and we should willingly want to give honor back to Him?
Then why do we see "sacrifice" as such a bad thing? Shouldn't we be joyful at the opportunity to give our lives back to God?
