Erinnicole's Prayer: Building 429's "No One Else Knows"

This song is incredibly beautiful. I love the emphasis on holding; holding hands, open hands waiting to hold, holding in arms. On a retreat I went on recently, I heard an awesome talk about God wanting to hold our hands. It is something that I've heard so many times but it is an idea that is so hard to grasp because God isn't tangible. Then the guy asked us to hold hands with the people next to us. I loved everyone sitting around me, we had grown close...but not quite that close. He noted, "I see that most of you still aren't, even after having been invited to. Holding hands can be awkward because it really shows that you care about someone enough to not let go." It put it into a new light knowing that God cares enough to just keep holding on, through no matter what, I mean enough for Him to keep holding on.
