I throw myself at mercy for I am the chief of sinnersAmongst the adults helping out with the youth ministry program, we are currently discussing what makes someone worthy of giving a talk. What level of spirituality do they have to have? What rules must they be following? What are some things that they can't partake in? It is a discussion that I'm having a bit of a hard time with because I don't know how to answer those questions.
I've been deemed qualified to give talks, but I'm not really sure on what basis. I struggle with my spirituality. I sin. I screw up. Constantly. Why is it okay for me to give a talk and not someone else? I'm not grasping what makes one person worthy and another person unworthy. We're all in need of Christ. None less than another.
