Megan's prayer: Jars of Clay's "Jealous Kind"

For some reason, as I listened to the last verse of today's song, all I could think about were some of my friend. I have a handful of friends who have decided they don't want to get married. While I respect this decision, it seems they are making it based on the wrong reasons. They don't want to be in a committed relationship because there are too many other guys out there to date. A few of them don't even believe that love is real. They think it isn't possible to love someone for a long period of time and be happy.

It makes me sad. It kills me to see them so shut off from the possibility of love. And I'm not just talking the love from a boyfriend/girlfriend. They can't see the love from each other, or from their families, or anyone around them. They can't even see the love from God. I want to be able to show this to them. To show them His love. I want them to know how much they are loved.
