I think I'm lucky to have a few people in my life like Sister Mary Clarence. They won't let me fail at life. They remind me of my beginning, why I'm here. And even when I do better, they still push me. I hope that like the choir, I do actually do better after I'm pushed. I also hope I become like Ryan and completely surprise them with how much better I am doing.

Katie's prayer: Ryan Toby's "Oh Happy Day"
I love Sister Act 2! It's one of my favorites. And this song is one of my favorite parts in the movie. The class has been working so hard to become a great choir and it's their first concert. The fear of what the audience will think and the stress of it all gets to them and they start off horrible. Now Sister Mary Clarence (Whoopi Goldberg), their director, could have let them finish off their horrible song and never tried again. But instead she brings out the stupid "la la la la la la la" that they had to repeat when they were first starting. After the la's they are so much better. But Sister Mary Clarence still doesn't stop there. She makes them go through even more la's. Amazingly they get even better, Ryan pulls out that super high note that even I can't reach and completely surprises Sister Mary Clarence.
