Megan's prayer: Cheer Up Charlie's "Favor"

Today over lunch, Chris and I discussed what we each thought were the best ways to plan LifeTeen events. Personally, I like being organized. I like have the night planned out well in advance and only have a few minor details to iron out at the end. Last minute changes cause all of the previous planning to be pointless.

Chris had a different view. Although he is willing to put in the time planning the life nights in advance, if last minute changes are called for, he is able to go with the flow. In the end, it doesn't matter how well the night was planned or how well the talk was executed. What does matter is that the teens felt love during the night.

I guess now, after listening to this song and reading the lyrics, I can start to see his point.
The time has come to put away all our differences
And unify through the Lord
.
I should not be upset when last minute changes occur. There shouldn't be any disagreement amongst the Core team. If we could all step back from our own personal views and look at the bigger picture - God's ideas - we would see what is really important. We need to unify, through the Lord, and only then will we make a difference.
