Chris' prayer: Overflow's "Cry on My Shoulder"

All the lyrics sites will show two lines as follows:
You no longer have to say
No one's listening anyway
But every time I hear them, instead I hear:
You no longer have a say
No one's listening anyway
It's probably just the below-average speakers on my MacBook, or perhaps the below average listening ability I sometimes have. But regardless, I think I like what I hear better than what the lyrics probably actually are. By changing that one little word, the whole tone of the two lines is changed. It transforms from a nice, respectful and safe phrase to a command that must be followed. And sometimes I need that command. Sometimes, I need to be told to grieve, to be sad, to allow things to affect me. Often times it is healthier to get those emotions out, and, I know for me, I often need someone to push me to realize that.
