You’re the reason for coming here

After yesterday’s song, I did some thinking. The purpose behind this project isn’t to keep up with my friends’ lives. The purpose is not so everyone out there can read my thoughts. The purpose is to help my prayer life. The purpose is to make it so I don’t have a reason to not pray every day. The purpose is to allow God to speak to me through songs. The purpose is to make my singing more meaningful because I’m paying attention to the lyrics behind the songs. when I remind myself of all of this, it seems stupid to have difficulty moving on because I’m the only one now. Dear God, help me to always remember the purpose behind this project and not get caught up in all the other little things.
