And words are weak
Yesterday, I attended an Advent Retreat (two actually). Part of this retreat, we went to the local art museum to see their Christian art and use that, along with an Advent meditation book. For part of my meditation time, I read about St. Joseph. Someone who has no recorded words in the Bible. A silent figure. The author continued to write about the power of silence. God often speaks to us in the silence - if we are quiet enough to here it. That’s often the trouble, being quiet. So tomorrow, while I have the chance, I’m going to go to silent Adoration while here at BC. Then on Sunday, I’m going to go to silent Adoration again at Twelve Apostles (excitement!). It’s time to be quiet enough for Jesus to talk me.
