Showers of mercy and grace
For a while now, I’ve been feeling the need to go to confession. I get this feeling every so often, and I’d say about half the time, I ignore it - life is busy, it’s a little odd going to confession with your boss, I don’t know when other parishes have confession, all sorts of excuses. Until at some point I can push that feeling away and forget about it for a while. I don’t think God’s going to allow that to happen this time. For starters, I’ve been getting at least one sign every day! Secondly, there’s an event on Thursday that will have confession. An event that I have to attend because of other commitments to this event. I’m out of excuses. There’s nothing to stop me from going to confession, except myself. Dear Jesus, help me to actually get up the courage to go to confession on Thursday. Amen.
