Katie's prayer: Hillsong United's "Take it All"

Jesus we’re living for Your Name
We’ll never be ashamed of You

This morning, I attended a meeting where we went over the readings (I think) for this upcoming Sunday. The Gospel reading had some part about being persecuted for your faith. Even by parents, brothers, and friends. In our discussion, I talked about how this was what stuck out to me because I have a few parents going against me right now. And this was just kinda the reassurance that, yeah, you’re going to have opposition, you’re going to be persecuted. But as long as you’re on God’s side, you have no worries. The persecution is going to be nothing compared to everlasting life with God. Dear Jesus, I pray that I might always see these little bits of opposition and persecution as going towards Your glory. I pray that I might not give into the temptations of going against what I believe to please others, even if they are parents, brothers or friends.
