Katie's prayer: Cheer Up Charlie's "Xanaphobe"

I have known and loved this song for a long time. There was always something that bugged me about it though - that stupid secret track. It’s not so much that it was there as the fact that there’s a little more than a minute of silence between the song and the secret track. The first time or two, I listened to the secret track. But after that, I’d sit through maybe 5-10 seconds of silence, remember about the track, either fast forward to hear it, or skip immediately to the next song. I was so impatient, I couldn’t sit through a minute of silence. Even tonight, after I realized about it, I went to the nifty little options and said “stop track right here” so I don’t have to sit through that stupid silence and bonus track thing, I just wanna listen to the actual song.

But you know, sometimes God calls us to do things that we don’t want to do. So I have now taken the option off, listening to the song fully, including all of the silence. Maybe it will help remind me that when God calls you to do something, you gotta do it! Even if that something is Confession! (which btw, I did go to tonight, it was a good confession with a great priest!)
