Megan's prayer: Passion's "Sweep Me Away"

Often times I find myself getting very caught up in things that really shouldn't matter to me. I get upset and frustrated with things that are out of my control. I compare myself to others about things that aren't important, but I make them important to me. I spend way too much time on these things.

This song captured my thoughts exactly of what I need God to do sometimes.

Sweep me away.

I would love if God would sweep me away from all of the things I have no control over, but still allow to dictate my mood. I would love if God would sweep me away when I start comparing myself and my relationship to other people. I need to be gently reminded that these things don't matter. What matters is that God loves me.

This song served as a great reminder tonight. It helped remind me that I can get sucked into things, and that I need to instead focus on God.
