Katie's prayer: David Crowder Band's "Rain Down"

Rain Down your love on us

I just love the analogy they used tonight for describing God’s love reaching us. It’s been a pretty rainy summer here. And not any real light showers, it been all thunderstorm type weather. So when I picture rain, I’m picturing a thunderstorm (like we had last night). There’s just no way to escape it. It comes down so abundantly and forcefully. Even if you wanted to, you couldn’t ignore it. It changes your plans for the day, from how you dress, to moving plans to avoid going out in the weather. And really, that’s a lot of what God’s love is like. You can’t escape it. It comes so abundantly, just so much love. And really, God’s love should affect your life, it should change you. Thank you God for loving me like a thunderstorm.
