Sing your praise to the LordThere are sometimes where Adoration and praise and worship sessions seem like they were designed just for me. The songs perfectly relate, any witness given is about exactly what I'm going through, and I feel God speaking to me through those surrounding me.
And then there are nights like tonight.
I told my girlfriend yesterday that I was hoping tonight's Adoration would just be endless praise. God has given me so much recently and I've felt so close to Him and all I want to do is praise Him. I just wanted to sing all the fun, upbeat, I'm-so-in-love-with-you-Jesus songs. To tell Him how thankful I am for all the blessings He has poured on me.
Well, that isn't exactly how the Adoration went, and, because I had set expectations, because I was hoping for something particular, I didn't get a lot out of it. Tonight's song though, is helping me get exactly what I'm needing- just to praise Him.
