Megan's prayer: David Crowder Band's "You Are My Joy"

I'm laughing so hard

The first few times I listed to this song, I didn't really pay attention to this line at the end of the song. When I finally did hear it, it really stuck out to me. Laughing is such a huge part of my life - it definitely brings me joy. Some of the times that I laughed the hardest were while I was at Dayton with two of my friends. No matter what we were doing, it always seemed that we were laughing. Often I would find myself crying from laughing so hard.

I'm so happy this song ended this way. The first part of the song seems a bit intense. "And He set me on fire, and I'm burning alive". God is portrayed as a bit harsh - but by the end I'm reminded that He is my joy - and this joy causes me to be happy and laugh.
