Chris' prayer: Kirk Franklin's "Let My People Go"

The chorus of this song reminds me that I must say what is right, what is truth, I must do what is right and truthful, no matter the consequences. No matter what people do to me, no matter what they say to me, no matter what they think of me, I must do right.

If only that were easy. Sometimes, it is, but many times, it is much harder to do the right thing, to live as a Christian, bringing Christ with me wherever I go. And not only bringing Him with me, but letting people see Him and come to know Him through me. My hope is that I can get better at doing that, at living as Christ would have me live, even when it costs me something.
