Just the other morning, I
tweeted, "One of the things I need when I get to work in the morning is to not be bothered. All day would be nice, (: but at least give me 30 minutes." Perhaps needless to say, I'm not exactly a morning person, so when I come into work and people are already calling me, or asking me about something, or trying to get me to make changes on a project, it frustrates me. Of all the things that I've learned about my faith, and about spirituality in general, and about my God, I have not learned about this line:
Joy comes in the morning.
To me, it's more like, joy comes in the
late morning, or, joy comes in the afternoon. I don't often find joy in my early mornings, and that is probably because I'm not looking for it. I'm not doing a great job of recognizing the opportunities to love and be loved first thing in the morning. Hopefully, with the acknowledgment of this, I'll be able to do better in the future.
