Megan's prayer: Matt Maher's "You Were on the Cross'

If I hadn't heard this song today, I'm not sure I would have been so drawn to the questions. I have just completed my first professional development workshop, and the focus for the 3 days was on using questioning to help deepen your understanding.

What I found while in this workshop, is that often the questions I ask don't get answers. Often I ask really hard questions while reading something, and in the end, I still don't have answers. The speaker called them "lingering questions", I just called them "annoying".

Luckily, in this song, I feel that most of the questions are answered. Jesus was up on the cross, partaking in our suffering. We may feel occasionally that He has abandoned us, but in reality, He is always there with us.

I enjoy the message of tonight's song.
