Megan's prayer: Chris Tomlin's "Made to Worship"

You and I are called to love
The idea here is so straightforward and simple. There really isn't much gray area or room for interpretation. We are called to love. So simple, and yet so complicated.

I'm sure that I'm not the only one that goes through this, but sometimes I find it even hard to love those who I am closest to. Whether it's because I'm in a bad mood, or they've said something mean, or there is just a misunderstanding, there are times when I am not loving towards those that I normally love the most.

How can I ask others to love me, when I don't always love them?

These past few days I've been doing some thinking about the future, and the path I am taking to get there. One Steubenville, there was one talk about taking the "best path" for us, and not taking all these side roads. In order for me to take that "best path," I am called to love more perfectly, and unconditionally. This goes for people I care about, as well as those who get on my nerves. It's a lofty goal, but I'm ready for the challenge.
