Unending melodies, strength and glory in His Sanctuary
Tonight was XLT at St. Gabe’s. Sadly, Adoration did not last as long as normal because the speakers went way over time. (It was all the teens talking about their experiences of the different trips and conferences from the summer, so I forgave them easily). There was really only one or two songs (besides the normal opening and ending songs) that were sung during Adoration. But they seemed to go on forever. It was a good thing though. They were songs I knew, so the going on forever part allowed me to fill the need to sing the song and still have time to just sit there and be quiet and talk to God while I listened to the song. That’s not normal. Usually, I have to choose between the two. I liked tonight better because of it. Probably one of the shortest Adoration experiences I’ve ever had, but definitely one of the better ones.
