Jesus speak words of life to meThis weekend was spent at a youth conference in Springfield, MO, with 3,000 teenagers. A great, wonderful experience. In trying to capture that experience in words, though, I've had trouble expressing what I got out of the conference. My focus was so much on the teenagers- every prayer was for them; nearly everything I did was to, in some way, make this a better experience for them- that it was hard for me to figure out what was for me in all of this.
Tonight, listening to this song, those words of life came to me. I was told multiple times this weekend some very wonderful things about how I live my life and how I serve the teenagers. Just such awesome, wonderful words of affirmation and love, and I realize now that those words were the biggest thing that I personally got out of the weekend. So, so cool.
