Your thoughts are higher than mineI've listened to this song quite a few times before today, but I guess I really wasn't paying attention, especially to the refrain. Upton is saying that giving his life to God isn't a sacrifice- because he recognizes how great God is. It's a no brainer for him. He doesn't feel like he's giving up anything at all.

I, too, know that God's thoughts are higher, His words deeper, and His love stronger than mine. I, too, know that God is great. I just wish I felt the other stuff. I wish I felt like I wasn't giving anything up. I wish it were a no brainer for me, too. I wish I were at that point.
