Katie's prayer: Kirk Franklin's "Kingdom Come"

So I'm gonna wait
On You
Cause I know that You're gonna pull
Me through

You know, just cause you leave something up to God doesn't mean the stress disappears. The past few weeks, I have been stressing quite a lot over Confirmation. Needing to schedule a Confirmation date for this year's candidates, but not able to do so because each parish can only have one Confirmation a year, and we already have that one scheduled. Needing to schedule a Confirmation date for next year's candidates, but I don't have the minimum number so I can't have it here either. Needing to schedule a date and time for Confirmation classes for next year's candidates and not wanting to have a complete disaster like the last time I had to do this, but at the same time not wanting to give all the control to the parents. A lot of stuff I need to do, but not sure how to go about doing it.

So I did a lot of talking to God. Trying to ask Him for an answer. Leaving everything up to Him, knowing that answers would come soon enough. He took a while, but today, almost everything was answered! We have a parish we're joining up with for this year, and have the dates for Confirmation narrowed down to 3! We have a parish to join up with next year, and the coordinator is a friend! And God's been slowly showing me a solution that will (hopefully) work to the scheduling classes problem. Sometimes it might take a while, but God always comes through in the end! ( :
