I don't remember all the details, but I remember them talking about God's house, and the concept of coming home to Him. Tonight's song mentions the same things.
I am rather excited about the opportunity to explore this a little more. That night, driving home, I got to thinking about what "home" feels like in all the senses- the sights that we consider home, the smells, the sounds, the tastes, and, of course, the touches. The concept of "home" is contained in all of those things. What does it mean for those senses then, that we will ultimately be called home to live in God's house for the rest of our lives? It is something that has been on my mind and something that I think I'll spend some time this Lent investigating.
