Megan's prayer: Steve Angrisano's "Blessing Song"

I think that I am often blessed, and I also bless others, without really evening thinking about it. It is my natural reaction to a sneeze to say "God bless you." In my sister's classroom, the students all say "Thank you, Miss Megan. God bless you." In both of these cases, I'm not sure how much actual thought has been put into the blessing.

I was doing some reading tonight about worship, and it talked about how words really don't mean anything unless there is love behind them. I think this is important to remember, especially in my faith. While I may say lots of things, and hand out "God bless you"s left and right, I need to start putting love behind these words for them to really matter.
