How I love You
I was doing some research today on possible future youth nights. I ran across this skit in a book about prayer:
Reader 1: Dear God, ...God: I know!Reader 1: What do you mean you know? What do you know?God: Everything.Reader 1: Well, if you're so smart, why should I bother to tell you anything?God: Because I love to listen to you!Reader 1: Oh, I see! Well, what do you want me to share with you?God: Anything and everything!
Now, as corny as that little skit is, it's completely true! I easily fall into that trap of
I don't need to tell God anything, He already knows" Especially when it's something like sharing my love for Him. He already knows, so why bother. But today's song and that corny little skit reminded me that I need to express that love more often.
