For almost a month now, I've lived alone. And I love it! I can do whatever I want. If I don't feel like putting something away, that's ok. I can decorate how I want. Everything in the fridge and cabinets is mine. I can watch whatever I want (which isn't really much since I'm not getting cable). It's amazing!
There is one downside though. I'm stuck with myself. If I have a really bad day, or a really good day, there's no one here to listen about it. No one to hang out with. No one here to share my life with and allow them to share their life with me. I have to put effort into it. I have to drive 15-30 sometimes even 45 minutes to see any of my friends. It's kinda lonely.
Today's song reminds me that whenever I feel lonely, God is there. When I want to share my day, good or bad, with someone, I can. I can hang out with Jesue. I can share my life with God and even let Him share His life with me, via The Bible. I still have to put in effort, but God is a lot closer, and whenever I need Him, He's there.
